September is usually the broadest

The main autumn intake commonly offers the widest course selection, scholarship availability and student activities. It can also be the most competitive, so begin early.

January can be a useful alternative

A January start can give you more preparation time after graduation or a missed deadline. The course choice may be smaller, and not every module sequence is available, so verify the exact course page.

May availability is selective

Spring or summer starts are offered by selected institutions and programmes. They can suit students ready to move sooner, but require careful checks on internships, accommodation and course progression.

Choose based on readiness

The best intake is the one that gives you enough time for tests, documents, funding and visa preparation without rushing. Never select an intake solely because it is the next available date.
